''[Deputy Surveyor General]'' dated the 3rd day of Novemr 1772 ''[03 Nov 1772]'' I have admeasured & laid out unto **Ezekial Backler Junr** a plantation or tract of land containing six hundred ''[600]'' acres on the N side of four hole swamp St. Mathews Parish, Berkley County in the province aforesaid Bounding S.E. on **William Young**'s Land, and land laid out for **Richard Norman**, S. West on Land supposed to be surveyd for **Joseph Goodbee**, and on the other sides on vacant Land, and hath such form & marks as the above plat represents.
