Pursuant to a Precept from John Bremar Esqr ''[Esquire]'' D. S. Genl. ''[Deputy Surveyor General]'' bearing date the 1st of May 1770 ''[01 May 1770]'' I have admeasured and laid out unto **John Palmer** a tract of Land Containing five hundred [500] acres Situate in St. Stephens Parish in Craven County bounding South on Land of **James Ravenel** **Rene Ravenel** and **David Boisseau** East on Land of **Joseph Palmer** and **John Monk** North on Land Called Soho and **Norman**s land and West on vacant land Having such shape and marks as the above plat represents

Certified this 25th June 1770 ''[25 Jun 1770]''
