===== Plat for Moses Norman, Colleton County SC, 21 Aug 1735 ===== ==== Text ==== South Carolina, Ss By virtue of a precept to me directed by James St. John Esq. his Majesty's Surveyor General, bearing date the 19th day of February 1731/2 ''[19 Feb 1731/2]'', I have admeasured and laid out unto Mr. **Moses Norman** a plantation or tract of land containing Seven Hundred and Thirty five ''[735]'' acres, in Colleton County, on the E. side of Saltcatcher ''[sic: Salkehatchie]'' River: ~~ Butting and bounding to the Wrd ''[Westward]'' on the said river, to the Swd ''[Southward]'' on Mr. **Thomas Wiles** land, and on all other sides on land not laid out.
