Mr. Moses Norman had a Grant out of the Secretary's office for all that parcell [sic] or Tract of Land containing one hundred and fifteen [115] acres scituate [sic] lying and being in Berkley County butting and bounding on the north and west on Land of Thomas Waring Esqr. [Esquire], Southerly on Joseph Stevens Land and said Moses Norman's old Tract Easterly on said old Tract likewise and hath such form and marks as appears by a Plat thereof to the said Grant annexed, certified by James St. John Esqr. Surveyor General in the words following

By virtue of a Warrant to me directed by his Excellency Robert Johnson Esqr. Governour [sic] &ca [etc.] I have caused to be set out and admeasured unto Mr. Moses Norman one hundred and fifteen [115] acres of Land in Berkley County butting and bounding on the north and west on Land of Thomas Waring Esqr. Southerly on Joseph Stevens Land and said Moses Norman's old Tract Easterly on said old Tract likewise and hath such marks blazes and forms as are above delineated Given under my hand the twenty third day of November 1732 [23 Nov 1732] Ja [James] St John Sur Genl [Surveyor General] The said Grant is dated the twenty fourth day of Novemr 1732 [24 Nov 1732] [the grant is actually dated 23 Nov 1732] and signed by his Excellency Robert Johnson Esqr. Governour [sic]
