SOUTH CAROLINA.

WE…DO GIVE AND GRANT unto Moses Norman his heirs and assigns, all that parcel or tract of land Containing Seven hundred and thirty five [735]
acres Situate lying and being in Colleton County in the Province aforesaid and butting and bounding on the East side of Salcacha [sic: probably “Salkehatchie”]
River to the Westward on the said River to the Southward on Mr. Thomas Miles land and all other sides on land not laid out.

Given under the Great Seal of our said Province Witness Thomas Broughton Esqr [Esquire]
Lieut [Lieutenant]
Governor and Commander in Chief in and over over [sic]
said Province of South Carolina this thirteenth day of July anno Domini 1737 and in the Eleventh year of our Reign.
