A memorial Exhibited by Isaac Dubose of Craven County in the province of So Carolina planter pursuant to an act of Assembly in that Case made and provided

Peter Dubose of Berkley County in the province of So Carolina planter and Magdalen his wife by Indenture of Lease and release bearing date respectively the 18th day of Decr in the year of Our Lord 1731 [18 Dec 1731] Conveyed unto Isaac Dubose by the name of Isaac Dubose of Craven County in the province aforesaid a planter and to his heirs and assigns forever 2 several tracts or plantations of land Each contg [containing] Four hundred [400] acres of Land making Eight hundred [800] acres of land Situate lying & being in Craven County in the province aforesaid

one of the plantations or tracts of land butting & boundg [bounding] to the NE on Wabakin Creek to the North West on Peter Coulandeaus Land to the So Wt [South West] on Santee River & to the So Et [South East] on said Isaac Dubose land

the other plantation or tract of Land buttg & boundg to the NE on Wabakin creek to the NW on said Isaac Dubose land to the So Wt [sic] on Santee River & to the So Et [sic] on land not then laid out

the said lands were granted by the Lords Proprs [Proprietors] at the quit rent of one shilling [1s] current money of this province pr 100 acres p annum
