Pursuant to a precept from John Bremar Esq. dep sur Genl. [Deputy Surveyor General] dated the 3rd day of Novemr 1772 [03 Nov 1772] I have admeasured & laid out unto Ezekial Backler Junr a plantation or tract of land containing six hundred [600] acres on the N side of four hole swamp St. Mathews Parish, Berkley County in the province aforesaid Bounding S.E. on William Young's Land, and land laid out for Richard Norman, S. West on Land supposed to be surveyd for Joseph Goodbee, and on the other sides on vacant Land, and hath such form & marks as the above plat represents.
